DOCTOR FATTA SADIKHOV – EDUCATİON AND PROFESSİONAL ACTİVİTY
Sadikhov Fatta Gafar oglu – Candidate of medical sciences, researcher at the department of endocrine surgery
Candidate of medical sciences, researcher at the department of endocrine surgery of the Scientific Center of Surgery named after M.A.Topchubashov, surgeon-endocrinologist, specialist in laser medicine.
Sadikhov Fatta Gafar oglu was born on June 8, 1969 in the Blaband village of Lerik region. From 1976-1986 he studied at the Blaband village secondary school in the Lerik region. From 1987-1989 he served in active military service. In 1989, he entered the 1st Medical and Preventive Faculty of the Azerbaijan Medical Institute named after N. Narimanov, and in 1995 he graduated from this faculty with honors with a degree in general medicine and received the qualification of a doctor. In 1995-1996, he completed an internship course in the specialty “Surgery” at the Baku City Oncological Dispensary named after A.T. Abbasov.
From 1996-2000 he worked as an oncologist surgeon in the city polyclinic № 12 of Sabunchu district.
In 2000, Fatta Sadikhov entered graduate school in the specialty “Surgery” at the Scientific Research Institute of Clinical Medicine named after Academician M.A. Topchubashev. He was engaged in scientific and practical medical activities in the department of endocrine surgery of the center. In 2004 he defended his Ph.D. thesis on “Improving the long-term results of complex diagnostics and surgical treatment of arterial hypertension of adrenal origin.”
From 2003 to 2010, he worked as a researcher in the department of endocrine surgery of the Scientific Center of Surgery named after Academician M.A. Topchubashev. From 2010 to 2019, he worked as the head of the endocrine surgery department of this center.
Sadikhov F.G. is currently working on a doctoral dissertation on the topic
“Modern aspects of the diagnosis and treatment tactics of the autoimmune thyroiditis disease”. He achieved the clinical application of surgical and other modern methods of treating patients with autoimmune thyroiditis using modern laser technologies. Sadikhov F.G. completed a course in laser medicine at the Russian State Laser Medical Center. O.K. Skobelkin and received a diploma in laser medicine.
The author received a patent from the Eurasian Patent Center for an invention on the topic “Treatment of patients with diffuse autoimmune thyroiditis by photodynamic therapy and intravenous blood irradiation with low-intensity laser radiation”.
Sadikhov F.G. is the author of the rationalization proposal “The use of CO2-laser against the background of improved surgical tactics for complications of autoimmune thyroiditis” and the guideline “Algorithm for diagnosing arterial hypertension of adrenal origin”.
Sadikhov Fatta has 57 published scientific papers relating to various sections of surgical endocrinology. Of these, 25 were articles, 29 were abstracts and various materials of international conferences, including 13 articles and 15 abstracts published in foreign publishing houses. Published 3 articles in international journals included in the Web of Science indexing system.
Currently, Fatta Sadikhov is actively involved in the scientific, practical, and socio-political life of the Department of Endocrine Surgery of the Scientific Center of Surgery named after Academician M.A. Topchubashov. He is married and has 2 daughters and a son.
