Aghakishiyev Agil Niftali oghlu was born on 02.04.1985 in the Vardenis Region of the Republic of Armenia (Narimanli village of Basarkechar Region, Goycha District). As a result of the Armenian aggression in 1988, when hundreds of thousands of Azerbaijanis living in Armenia were expelled from their homeland, Agil Aghakishiyev’s family also was driven out Armenia and moved to live in Azerbaijan. His family settled in Ganja, Azerbaijan.

In 2003 he graduated from high school in Ganja with honors diploma. During the school years he had repeatedly taken part in the thematic Academic Olympics in various subjects, including chemistry and biology, and become a winner in Azerbaijan and regional olympiads. After graduating from high school he entered Azerbaijan Medical University. He successfully graduated from the AMU in 2008 and was on internship in 2008-2009. Then he confirmed the compatibility of the diploma in the Republic of Turkey. There he continued his medical education and improvement as a physician. After graduating internship in 2009, he attended an additional 6-month course at the Institute of Doctors Improvement in Gastroenterology. He passed the Attestation Commission at the Institute of Doctors Improvement in 2013 and 2018, and obtained the Certificate confirming the right to be engaged in practical medicine or pharmacy.

2003-2009 – Azerbaijan Medical University. During the studentship in 2005-2010 he worked as a Surgical and Therapeutic Assistant (Physician Assistant) and Physician in the state and private hospitals.
2008 – Turkey. Ankara. Hacettepe University. Internship in Pathology, Gastroenterology.
2010 – Equivalency Certificate of Diploma from the Presidency of the Higher Education Council
2010-2013 – Gaziantep University, Şahinbey Research and Application Hospital, Department of Internal Medicine, Department of Gastroenterology-Hepatology, Senior Specialist in Therapeutic Education
