Khaladdin Musayev  is the author of a number of scientific articles and books on Coloproctology in the Azerbaijani language. He is a faculty member of the AMU.
He is engaged in diagnosis and treatment of gastro-intestinal diseases, coloproctological diseases, including the intestinal and rectal diseases. In particular, Professor Khaladdin Musayev is considered one of our physicians providing active medical service, and leading specialists in conservative and surgical treatment of hemorrhoids, colitis, paraproctitis, chronic constipation, diverticular disease, intestinal adhesion, Crohn’s disease, intestinal colitis, ulcerative colitis, intestinal nodules, rectovaginal fistulae, intestinal extension, megacolon, rectal fissure, rectal and intestinal gastrointestinal tract and other diseases met on colorectal area.
Professor Khaladdin Musayev has a special contribution to the training of new specialists in the AMU. As it is known, the common surgeons involved in the intestinal surgery are called coloproctologists or colorectal surgeons. Doctors who are engaged in the intestinal and rectal diseases are called proctologist.

Professor Khaladdin Novruz oglu Musayev studied at the Medical Faculty of the Azerbaijan Medical University in 1978-1984. In 1984-1985 he passed internship at City Clinic No. 2. In 1988-1991 he received postgraduate education at the Topchubashov Scientific and Research Clinical and Experimental Surgery Institute.

In 1985-1988 he worked as a physician-surgeon at the Sumgayit City Hospital No. 1. In 1991-1999 he worked as a surgeon at the Scientific Research Institute of Gastroenterology. From 1999 to the present time he has been engaged in active scientific activity in the 2^nd Surgical Diseases Department of the AMU and works as a physician-surgeon. Professor Musayev is also a department head at the Training and Surgery Clinic of the AMU and Topchubashov Scientific Surgery Center.
