Education
Uzeyir Rahimov studied at the Medical Faculty of the Ankara University from 1991 to 1998. He achieved the qualification of a cardiologist at the Medical Faculty of the Ankara University in 1998 – 2003.
About the work experience
Dr. Uzeyir Rahimov also holds a PhD in medicine.
From 1998 to 2003, he worked at the Department of Cardiology at the Ankara University.
Then, from 1999 to 2003, Uzeyir Rahimov worked at Ankara private hospital Yasham.
He returned to Azerbaijan in 2003, and has continued his career till 2013 as a cardiologist at the Central Clinical Hospital in Baku.
As a qualified cardiologist, he has been involved in the treatment of all types of cardiovascular diseases. At the same time, as one of the local specialists who passed qualifications abroad, he performed the procedures coronary angiographic examination and stenting.
Starting from 2013, Uzeyir Rahimov, as a cardiologist, has continued his work in this area at the clinic the Baku Medical Plaza.
Currently he is the head of the department at this clinic.
Uzeyir Rahimov is a member of the Board of the Azerbaijan Society of Cardiology.

Uzeyir Rahimov periodically participates in the local and international conferences and shares his scientific and practical experience with his colleagues, and delivers the addresses at these conferences.
His articles are published in the scientific journals.
